Centro Tartufi Molise is an expression of Italian culture and its food and wine tradition.

It was born from a passion for genuine products, focusing on the quality of raw materials through the use of the most modern production techniques.

Today, thanks to founder Angelo Palombo and his children Sandra and Vittorio, the company has achieved international fame and is well-established in prestigious culinary circles, promoting truffles as the jewel in the crown of Italian cuisine.

With full respect for sustainability among truffle “hunters”, meticulous attention to selecting the finest products, and the use of renewable energy, CTM has achieved the highest quality standards, also obtaining ethical and environmental certification as an organic company.

To satisfy our customers, improve our service, and increase our versatility, we organize on-site kosher production. We have a range of certified kosher products, which we produce under the watchful eye of a Rabbi who oversees the entire production process, from washing the raw materials to labelling.

Dedicated to purists, CTM has created Selezione Maestro, a natural, refined, flavor-free line to fully appreciate the pure flavour of truffles. Selezione Maestro commemorates the "Master of Work" honour awarded to Mr. Angelo Palombo, founder of Centro Tartufi Molise.

It all began in 1985 when Mr. Angelo Palombo, a lifelong enthusiast of crops and a nature lover, developed a passion for the art of truffle hunting. He was extremely successful in this endeavor, so much so that over the years his passion developed into a successful business.

DEVELOPMENT

In the early 1990s, Mr. Angelo, along with his children Sandra and Vittorio, acquired shares in the San Pietro Avellana company, located in the town of the same name, eventually taking over the business entirely in 1995. He significantly expanded production, experimenting with new products and creating new recipes that quickly established themselves on the market. He also expanded the sale of fresh truffles, the gold of the earth, the fruit of whole searching days, dirty boots, commitment, passion, dedication and pleasure.

Guinness World Record

Meanwhile, in November 2014, Vittorio Palombo came into possession of a white truffle weighing over 1.5 kg, dug up in the woods of the province of Campobasso by a hunter from Molise. And it soon became a Guinness World Record.
The company has won the Guinness World Record for the largest white truffle in the world, weighing 1.453 kg at the time of certification, another immense satisfaction for the Palombo family, who run one of the companies recognized as a flagship of the Molise region and beyond.

Casa Molisana

Casa Molisana was founded in 2017: a bar, restaurant and shop where various products exclusively from Molise are promoted, prepared, and sold. The Palombo family's goal is to promote Molise—the Molise that exists and endures—a Molise that is healthy, authentic, productive, and delicious. Reservations are plentiful, the coffee is good, the croissants tempting, and the chef's cuisine is highly appreciated.

Nel 2015 CTM sbarca a Montreal, Canada.
Nel 2016 CTM approda in Australia, Israele, Massachusetts, Ontario, Quebec.
Nel 2017 CTM raggiunge la British Columbia.

Nel 2020 CTM si annida anche in Cina e in Nuova Caledonia.
Nel 2022 CTM si “arma” per l’ingresso sul mercato russo.

CERTIFICATION

In 2021, the company obtained the Kosher certification: with the support and approval of the Rabbinate of Rome, CTM presents a comprehensive list of products dedicated to the Jewish market and beyond.
